BEN-Africa leadership recognizes the diverse wealth of knowledge and expertise in Africa, thus the formation of BEN Africa Networking Council (BANC) in 2020 whose mandate is to support the Executive Committee of BEN Africa by offering strategic guidance on the implementation of BEN Africa’s activities across Africa and to act as resource points on ethics related issues to BEN Africa members within their respective countries.

She is an adept trainer and consultant in public and private sector leadership, organizational ethics and management, women empowerment, and leadership. Yvonne is a certified Ethics officer by The Ethics Institute.

Raymond Simbi Isiaho is a Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional. He has over 15 years of experience in providing assurance services to private and public sector organizations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Mozambique. His main focus is to ensure adequate design, implementation and effectiveness of internal controls aimed at various organizations in order to safeguard strategic corporate objectives. Raymond is a Senior Manager, Compliance and Controls at Safaricom Plc.

He is skilled in leading people, strategy, sales, customer focus, and has much experience on ethics and compliance issues. Malik is the 2023 recipient of the Order of the Baobab Award by BEN Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Botswana and The Executive Development Program from the University of Cape Town (Graduate School of Business). Malik is a Certified Ethics Officer by The Ethics Institute among other key professional achievements.

Symphorien Ntibagirirwa holds a doctorate degree in Philosophy from Pretoria University and a Post-doctorate from the University of Richmond, Virginia, USA. Currently, he lectures Leadership Ethics, Foundations of Governance and Governance of Economic Development at the International University of Burundi, (ILU-Burundi), Governance in the history of law at the University of Ngozi, Burundi, and Contemporary philosophy a Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Rwanda. His current research interest covers such issues as corporate governance, Business integrity, Illicit financial flows, leadership ethics, economic ethics from the perspective of the philosophy of Ubuntu. He resides in Kigali, Rwanda.

Omowumi Ogunyemi obtained her first degree in medicine and surgery and worked as a medical practitioner in Nigerian hospitals before her postgraduate studies in Philosophy. She holds a licentiate degree and a doctorate in philosophy (Anthropology and Ethics – with summa cum laude) from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, Rome. She is an experienced academic, teaching applied philosophy (ethics and anthropology) at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Her research interests include interdisciplinary approaches to narratives and the applications of narrative philosophy in different fields.

She is also a data analyst skilled in both quantitative and qualitative research methods that provide innovative (data-driven) solutions and recommendations for informed decision making in the public and private sectors. Chrissy’s expertise includes experience as an ethics and compliance professional and in business risk management. Her skill sets include a high level of proficiency in stakeholder collaboration for sustainable business development; and as an implementing partner.

Asres is an Assistant Professor of Management at Addis Ababa university. He has more than 19 years of experience in academia, consultancy, training, and research in Management. Dr. Asres has obtained certifications from Arizona State University (ASU) on Master Class for Teaching Online, e-Learning Management System (LMS) from Addis Ababa University, Entrepreneurship for Educators from Nova Scotia College and Result-Based Monitoring and Evaluation from ILRI.Dr. Asres also has proven experience in academic leadership as a Department chair and partnership project manager and is involved in many extra-curricular activities including curricula design for graduate and undergraduate programs. He has served as Chairperson of the Department of Management at Addis Ababa University, and PI of SIDA project in the joint Management & Economics PhD program with Jonkoping University, Sweden.

Susan Yaa Anima Ackah is the Regional Manager for West Africa at Globethics Foundation, where she leads projects on ethics, governance, and sustainability across eight countries. She also supports the MENA Centre, recently coordinating a 10-month Anti-Corruption Training-of-Trainers Programme that equipped 149 participants, 15 of whom now deliver anti-corruption initiatives regionally. With an MBA in Project Management, Susan brings a broad range of experience from NGO leadership, higher education engagement, and banking, as well as expertise in training, facilitation, and panel moderation. She is passionate about advancing integrity, strengthening institutions, and nurturing ethical leadership for sustainable development.
